The Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy has designated the social theme of Health & Care in
the context of the mission-driven top sectors and innovation policy as one of the four global challenges
for the coming years.
Board
As a foundation, the Executive Office of the Top Sector LSH is formally supervised by an independent
board. The Board consists of four members with legal, financial and scientific expertise and, in addition
to supervising the Executive Office and its staff, it awards PPP Allowances after taking advice from the
PPP Allowance evaluation committee.
Top Team LSH
The Top Team of the Top Sector Life Sciences & Health represents industry, academia and government. The
Top Team is coordinator of the activities for the societal theme Health & Care. It further more stimulates
public-private partnerships and supports the life sciences and health sector in its international,
entrepreneurial and human capital efforts.
Advisory Board
The Advisory Board consists of life sciences and health professionals from different disciplines. The
Advisory Board advises the Top Team and participates in the operationalisation and execution of the
strategy of Health & Care.
Executive Office
In close collaboration with the Top Team and Advisory Board, our Executive Office is responsible for the
day-to-day activities for the societal theme Health & Care. One of its’ core activities is the regulation
of the PPP Allowance to valorise innovation.
